Obituary for Ardis A. Krueger
Ardis A. Krueger, 96, of Oconto, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at Bay Shore Pines, Oconto. Ardis was born April 4, 1912 in Pensaukee to the late John and Cora (Veto) Mocco. She married Layman Krueger on June 2, 1932. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1973. The couple owned and operated a dairy farm in Pensaukee from 1942 until their time of retirement in 1973. Ardis was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oconto and its Ladies Aid. For many years, she volunteered at Bethesda Thrift Shop in Green Bay and also delivered meals on Wheels in Oconto.
Ardis is survived by four nieces and nephews Marcine (James) Harteau, Waupun; Rodney Mocco, Waupun; Orland (Chris) Ritter, FL; Cheryl (James) Jawort, White Lake; and very special friends Donald, Sr. And Vera Andrews. She is preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Family and friends may gather to say goodbye from 9 to 11 AM Friday, April 18, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, Oconto. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday at the church with the Rev. Bruce Blocker officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, Oconto. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net
