GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
William (Bouncie) Fumelle, 74, of Oconto, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. William was born December 16, 1939 in Oconto to the late Lloyd and Clara (LeMay) Fumelle. He married Rosie Belongia on April 25, 1964. Bill retired in 2003 from Northport, Inc. He had previously worked for Cruisers, Inc., Bishop’s Floor Covering, MacQueens Furniture, Green Bay Packaging, and “Bill and Rosie’s” Bar in Oconto. Bill enjoyed playing baseball and fast-pitch softball with all of his friends over the years. He often shared many stories, close to his heart, from each of the various teams and teammates. He was proud to have played for Bill’s Bar, LeMay’s Bar, and Lusier’s Bar. The greatest joys in Bill’s life came from sharing time with his family. His loving wife and best friend, Rosie, was by his side for everything. He believed he had the world’s greatest grandchildren and supported them at countless baseball, football, basketball, track, dance, and preschool events. Bouncie was a man with a heart of gold. The Lord has gained an angel, but the world is a lesser place without him. Bill was a member of Holy Catholic Church, Oconto.
Bill is survived by his wife, Roseanne, of fifty years; a daughter Lisa (Andy) Szymanski, DePere; a son Scott (Nicole) Fumelle, Green Bay; four grandchildren Bill, Sawyer, Mac, and Bailey; a sister Audrey (Ron) Frease, Oconto; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister Delores “Puxie” and Russell Topel.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, October 21st, with prayer services by Deacon Walter Kaszynski at 7 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 22nd from 10 to 11 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Oconto Police and Fire departments for their help over the past year. Thank you to Dr. Kumar and all the medical staff at St. Vincent Hospital.
