Obituary for William Arthur Gering

William Arthur Gering, 65, of Oconto. On December 19, 2016 a very special guy left our world to start a whole new life of happiness. Bill was born August 22, 1951, in Oconto to the late Arthur and Mary (Mineau) Gering. He was employed at Cruisers Inc., from there he worked at Scott Paper in Marinette and finally retiring two years ago from Procter & Gamble of Green Bay. Some of his favorite past times were biking distances and basketball with his buddies. He loved ESPN channel and sharing a beer or two while watching a marathon of games on the TV with friends. His love of music was obvious when he entertained from his wall of cd’s and vinyl albums. Bill was an avid follower as well as contributor of You Tube videos as Kehlog Albran. He was an accomplished reader and researcher of philosophy, politics and religion.

Bill is survived by a daughter, Chynna (Kevin), Green Bay; brothers, David Lee (Marilyn), Oconto; Steve (Nancy), Oconto; sisters, Cynde Gering, Green Bay; Kathy Vorpahl (Wayne), Green Bay. He was preceded in death by a brother Rodney Gering.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 7 PM Monday, December 26, 2016. Online condolences may be expressed at
