Obituary for Viola M. Heise

Viola M. Heise, 89, of Oconto, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Oconto Hospital and Medical Center. Viola was born August 14, 1919 in Carney, MI to the late William A. and Jessie (Fish) Roland. She married Robert Heise on December 15, 1945 in Oconto. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2000. Viola worked at the bond Pickle Company in Oconto for several years after high school. After marrying Robert she was a devoted housewife. She was a patient and loving mother. Viola and Robert always enjoyed their annual stays in Florida. She was always looking forward to a trip through the countryside, searching for old motorcycle parts with her son Bill, especially in the autumn season. She also enjoyed all of her visits and conversations with Shirley and the girls at the beauty shop. She always loved visits from the grandchildren and the company of a good dog. Viola was a life time member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Oconto.
Viola is survived by daughter Susan (Stephen) Ozechowski, Oconto; three sons William Heise, Oconto; Michael Heise, Oconto; Scott (GHiE) Heise, Houston, TX; a sister Jane Tiedke, Kaukana. Five grandchildren Cheryl (Robert) Wendricks, Chad Ozechowski, Alicia and Jessica Heise, Dana Heise. Five great grandchildren Brooke, Bobbi Jo and Brandon Wendricks, Kayden Watts and Zhong Mei Heise. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son James L. Heise, sister Jessie and four brothers Robert, Edward, Gordon and Glen Roland.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Zion Lutheran Church, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Bruce Blocker and Rev. Scott Heise officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. The Gallagher Funeral Home. Oconto, is assisting the family. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net
We love you Mom. You will always be in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
