Obituary for Terrance O. Bendt
Terrance O. Bendt passed away on October 7, 2017 at Woodlands of Oconto. Terry was born in Marinette on August 28, 1935 to Oscar and Lillian Bendt. He served in the Air Force for 4 years. He married the former Eleanor McFadden and they were side by side for over 60 years. Terry received his Associates Degree at NWTC for tax preparation. He retired as a custodian in the Oconto Unified School District. He loved to hunt and fish most of his life and was a member of the Oconto Gun Club. He also served on the Forestry Committee for the City of Oconto. Terry is survived by his wife Eleanor, many sisters in law, brothers in law, many nieces and nephews, special nephew Ron Hayes, his guardian ;and special friends Jo and Fred Schulz.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the United Methodist Church, Oconto, from 10 AM to 12 Noon, Saturday, October 21, 2017. Memorial services will be conducted 12 Noon Saturday at the church with the Rev. David Henke officiating. Military Rites will be performed by all Oconto Veteran organizations.
