Obituary for Shirley R. Fischer
Shirley R. Fischer, 78, of Oconto, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at her home. Shirley was born September 15, 1935 in Oconto to the late Delbert and Addie (Beauleau) Whiting. She married Jim Fischer on April 9, 1975.
Shirley is survived by her husband Jim Fischer, Oconto; two daughters, Cynthia (Jim) Maynard, Oconto; Shirley (Wayne) Wolf, Oconto; two step-sons, Steve (Laurie) Fischer, Jim (Bonnie) Fischer, 10 brothers and sisters, Viola Longsine, Carol Shafman, Pat C. Whiting, James Whiting, Sue (Mark) Anderson, Mary (Russ) Luepke, Donald (Jodi) Whiting, Dennis Whiting (friend Kathy), Bob (Bonnie) Whiting, Kay (Jerry) Mahloch, eleven grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Wallace Noack, two sisters, Verene VanNorman, Betty Adams, two brothers, Edgar and Marvin Whiting.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 11 AM to 2 PM Friday, March 21, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Friday at the funeral home with Deacon Walter Kaszynski officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
