Obituary for Rose Marie Samuelson
Rose Marie Samuelson, 84, Lt. Suamico, passed away September 13, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Rose was born April 12, 1926 in Merrill to the late Harry and Lillian (Jacobson) Litkey. She married Nate Samuelson on December 7, 1943. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1981. Rose was an excellent cook and worked at many supper clubs in northern Wisconsin and the Green Bay area. Rose and Nate ran Nates Riding Stables in Three Lakes, WI for 10 years and were avid horse enthusiasts their entire life. Rose was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Rose is survived by two daughters Barbara (Jerry) Nelson, Long Lake; Linda (Brian) Nagle, Three Lakes; three sons Willie (Kathy) Samuelson, Three Lakes; Dale (Lynn) Samuelson, Nichols; Pete (Gloria) Samuelson, Lt. Suamico; special family friend Mike (Diane) Burke, Oshkosh; ten grandchildren nineteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by an infant son Glenn Samuelson, four brothers and one sister.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 6 to 8 PM Friday, September 17, 2010. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
