Obituary for Ronald D. Van Pay

Ronald D. Van Pay, 62, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully to his eternal home on February 13, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Ron was born April 29, 1946 in Pittsfield. On June 3, 1972 Ron married the love of his life Linda Erdmann. Ron enjoyed life and was so proud of his son and daughter-in-law for their many accomplishments. Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved so much.
Ron is survived by his loving wife Linda, Green Bay; a son Kyle(Lisa) Van Pay, Pittsfield; four grandchildren Rylee, Hannah, Weston, and McKayla., father Donald (Ruth) Van Pay, mother Bette (Jerry) Copley, mother-in-law Norma Erdmann, three brothers Randy (Kathy) Van Pay, TX; Russ Van Pay, WY; Rory (Robyn) Van Pay, CO; a sister Vicki (Lonnie) Annan, CO. Ron was preceded in death by a brother Ricky Van Pay and father-in-law LeRoy Erdmann.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 3 to 6 PM Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Copley officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given.
A special thank you to all the many friends who kept Ron in their thoughts and prayers, and to Leo for his many visits.
