Obituary for Rita Jean Viestenz
Rita Viestenz, 57, of Oconto, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at her home. Rita was born June 12, 1952 in Oconto to the late Victor and Eunice (Meyer) Viestenz. Rita grew up on the family farm and truly loved spending time there. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her niece and nephew and great niece and nephew. Rita was very generous, giving to as many charities as she could. Rita did not take things for granted, she enjoyed the simple things in life. Rita was a member of the Oconto Gospel Chapel, Oconto.
Rita is survived by a brother Vernon (Karen) Viestenz, Little River; niece Kelli Viestenz, Sobieski; nephew Ryan Viestenz, Little River; and a great niece and nephew Brodey and Kylee.
The family will receive relatives an friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 5 to 7 PM Thursday, January 14, 2009. Memorial services will be conducted 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Williams officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net
