Richard L. Boucher, 78, of Oconto Falls, passed away after a short battle with lung cancer, Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Sharpe Care LTD, Oconto Falls. Richard was born August 16, 1930 in Menominee, MI , son of the late Lawrence and Grace (Trippler) Boucher. He graduated form Menominee High School class of 1948. Richard had served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On December 29, 1954 he married the late Shirley (Flowers) Boucher; she preceded him in death on September 3, 2005.
Richard was an electrician for many years for Magna Graphics Corporation, traveled to many countries for his job, finally retiring from the Egan Corporation. He was the President of River Island Golf Club for many years. He loved the game of golf and especially enjoyed his Monday ad Wednesday golf leagues.
Richard is survived by two sons Rick (Kelly) Bouche, Abrams; Jay (Janice) Boucher, Oconto Falls; six grandchildren Michael Krumrei, Dustin Bouche, Adam Boucher, Mark Krumrei, Amanda Boucher, Tressa Bouche, one great grandchild Kali Schindel, two brothers Robert (Shirley) Boucher, Seattle, WA; James Boucher, Penns Grove, NY; a sister-in-law Delores Boucher, Green Bay; He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley, a daughter Renee Boucher-Krumrei, two brothers Larry Boucher and William Boucher, a sister-in-law Peggy Boucher, a brother-in-law Paul Flowers and two of his best friends Lloyd Hughes and Tom Kasten.
It was Richards belief that people not grieve over his passing, in this life he may have wanted to argue the issue with you. Therefore Richards wishes were to be cremated and no funeral services be held.
