Patty Jean (Fields) Trepanier passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017. Patty was born October 18, 1960 in Milwaukee, WI to Maynard & Carol (Winans) Fields. Patty also waitressed and bartended at several local establishments.

Patty is survived by her son, Justin, her granddaughter, Addisyn; her father, Maynard Fields, all of Oconto. Her siblings, Paul “Fred” Fields, Oconto; Penny & Dr. Douglas Pierre, Brussels; Susan Miller, Suamico; Eric & Julie Albert, Bloomington, IL; extended family, Amber Johnson, Oconto Falls, Joey & Chrissy Kumhala, Oconto. Grandchildren (Addisyn, Sebastian, Mitchell and Jaelin). Many, many friends from near and far.

Patty was our social butterfly she enjoyed sharing life with all. Her enjoyment came from her children, especially when she became a grandmother to Addisyn. She also enjoyed watching game shows, playing bingo or the Casino, or having a Margarita or Miller Lite (with Olives) and cheering loudly for the Green Bay Packers. She will always be our Peppermint Patty or Molly for those on the Bus. May her light continue to shine on all of us.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Friday, August18, 2017. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 19, from 10 to 11 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday at the church with the Rev. Bob Karuhn officiating. Burial will be at Oconto Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.

“In leaving you, I am at peace. Life isn’t always fair. Cancer is a demon that we need to find a cure for. However, remember this: God is in the driver seat and YOU are the passenger. Some people get a longer ride than others. God will let you know when it is your turn to open the door and come home with him.”
