Obituary for Myrtle McGraw
Myrtle McGraw, 93, of Abrams, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Parkview Manor, Green Bay. Myrtle was born January 31, 1916 in Abrams to the late John and Rose (Lear) Hellmann. She married Wilbur McGraw in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1983. Myrtle was a member of the United Methodist Church, Suamico, and active in the womens group.
Myrtle is survived by two daughters Darlene Gauthier, Green Bay; Lornell (David) Byng Green Bay; a son Dennis (Carol) Deaton, Portland, OR; a brother Earl (Ruth) Hellmann, Sturgeon Bay; eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter Diane (LeRoy) Olson, six brothers Emil, Arthur, Martin, Raymond, Wilbur, Donald, four sisters Francis, Irene, Lanie, Adina, and one granddaughter Nichole "Nikki" Olson.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 3 to 6 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted 6 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Deanna Merritt officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery.
