Obituary for Milan Raymond Ziesmer

Milan Raymond Ziesmer, 71, of Oconto, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at Bellin Hospital surrounded by family and caregivers. Milan was born March 22, 1939 to the late Raymond and Clara (Bloom) Ziesmer. Milan worked for New View Industries for over 25 years. Milan competed in the Special Olympics in bowling and wheelchair racing. Milan enjoyed outings, including going to the zoo, parades, picnics and family gatherings.

Milan is survived by a sister, Anne Marie (Lee) Kasbaum, Pensaukee; nieces and nephew, Diane (special friend Tom) Sween, Pewaukee; JoAnne (Matthew) Dennis, Houston, TX; Danny Nowak, Westminster, CO; Karen (Tim) Cox, Pensaukee; and great niece and nephews, Kristin (David) Casper, Nathan Cox, Jason Cox and Garrett Dennis.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 10 AM to 12 Noon Thursday, November 18, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mary Zupansic officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery.
