Obituary for Melva Sis Pillsbury

Melva Kathleen ?Sis? Pillsbury, a long time Oconto resident passed away at Woodlands of Gillett Nursing Home on August 18, 2005. Melva was born June 1, 1909 in Oconto County to the late John and Nora (Colson) Erickson. Melva married Norman Pillsbury, he preceded her in death. Sis worked for many years at Bond Pickle Co., Oconto. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Women?s Association at the Church.. Survivors include a son Vernon (Barbara) Erickson, Sun Lake, Arizona; a nephew William (Billy) J. Erickson, Waunakee, WI; five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman and a brother Maynard Erickson. Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from 4 to 8:00 P. M. Sunday August 21st. Visitation will continue at the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto from 9 to 10:00 A. M. Monday. Funeral service will be 10:00 A. M. Monday at the church with Rev. Thomas Beck officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto. On line condolences may be expressed at
