Obituary for Margaret Hescher
Margaret O. Hescher, 91, 119 Memorial Dr.; Oconto, WI passed away April 20, 2006 at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay. She was born March 28, 1915 in the Town of Little River to the late John and Mattie (Danke) Malchow . She married Jim Hescher, he preceded her in death on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. She worked at the Oconto Memorial Hospital in the gift shop for many years. She was a member of First American Lutheran Church, Oconto and the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include two sons Craig Hescher, Oconto; Doug (Cindy) Hescher, DePere; a sister-in-law Myrtle Melchoir, St. Paul MN; four grandchildren Sean (Liberty) Hescher, Carrie Sue Hescher, Jodi Hescher and Katlin Hescher; also three great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by two sisters Mildred Hidde and Agnes Hidde; two brothers Herbert Melcher and Frank (Evelyn) Malchow. Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto form 4 to 8:00 P. M. Monday and from 10 to 11 A. M. Tuesday . Funeral service will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at the Gallagher Funeral Home with Rev. Richard DeBenedetto officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
