Obituary for Marcella VanLorynen

Marce VanLorynen (Grandma by the river), 83, Oconto passed away August 10, 2010 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center. Marce was born November 29, 1926 in Coleman, WI to the late Andrew and Hattie (VanLaarhoven) Rysewyk. She married Norbert VanLorynen February 6, 1971. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2005. Marce worked for Krueger Metal for 26 years until she retired. After retirement Marce and Corby purchased and operated "Marce & Corbys Village Pub" for 10 years. She enjoyed cooking, especially for the church. Marce was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, St. Annes Society, St. Vincent DePaul, and Mana Meals.
Survivors include a daughter Dawn Gibeault, Green Bay; four sons Jerry Gibeault, Oconto; James Gibeault, New Orleans; Jack (Joline) Gibeault, Oshkosh; Jeffrey (Blaine) Gibeault, Green Bay; a step daughter Sheri (Joey) Mahn, Cudahy; two step sons Bob (Susan) VanLorynen, Florida; Joey (Patty) VanLorynen, Florida; two sisters Christian Salefsky, Thiensville; Marie (Bob) Erickson, Washington; sisters in-law June, Aileen and Loraine Rysewyk all of Coleman. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers John, Peter, Bernard and Ambrose Rysewyk and a brother in-law Hank Salefsky.
Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home Oconto from 4 to 8:00 P. M. Thursday with Prayer service at 7:00 P. M. Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated 11:00 A. M. Friday at Holy Trinity Parish with Rev. Patrick Beno and Rev. David Ruby officiating. Burial will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. On line condolences may expressed at
