Obituary for Marcella Sally Pagel

Marcella ?Sally? Pagel, 90, of Abrams passed away September 14, 2005 at her home. Sally was born in Spruce, July 24, 1915, to the late Henry and Caroline (Prausa) Bartz. She married Grant Pagel in Brookside, and they would have celebrated their 68th anniversary on September 25th. They worked together at the White Lily Cheese Factory, Shiocton and the Brookside Cheese Factory. Sally enjoyed bowling, golf, her home, and family. She loved their little dog Peppy, gardening and the many birds that visited the feeders at their home. She was a longtime member of St. John?s Lutheran Church in Little Suamico. Survivors include her loving husband Grant; a daughter Carolyn (Don) Kieler, Georgetown, Florida; a son Roger (Bonnie) Pagel, Brookside. Two sisters Verna Johnson, Oconto Falls; Delores (John) Grant, Deland, FL; two brothers in-law Arlie Pagel, Little Suamico; Leland (Clarice) Pagel, Pulaski. Also 5 grandchildren Brad (Megan) Pagel, Wausau; Chad (Jami) Pagel, Morgan; Matt Pagel, DePere; Valerie (Dan) Snyder, Fernandina Beach, FL; Leslie Kieler, Seattle, WA; 9 great grandchildren Kurtis, Melissa, and Kyle Pagel; Gabriel, Madeline and Deegan Pagel; Cameron, Benjamin and Zachary Snyder. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers Earl, Floyd ?Chubby? and Howard ?Buddy?; 4 sisters Ruth Johnson, Evelyn Pagel, Vi Tracey and Lorraine Carey; 4 sisters in-law and 6 brothers in-law. Friends may call at St. John?s Lutheran Church, Little Suamico from 9 to 10:30 A. M. Friday, September 16, 2005. Funeral service will be at 10:30 A. M. Friday at the church with Pastor Solveig A. H. Zamzow officiating. Entombment will be at Nicolet Memorial Garden, Green Bay. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto is assisting the family.
