Obituary for Lydia Noack

Lydia R. Noack, 78, passed away on December 6, 2005, at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice Wauwatosa, WI after a brief illness. Lydia Rose Sellen was born June 5, 1927 in the Town of Little River to Nels and Hulda Sellen. She attended Pershing Grade School, Lena High School, and graduated from Deaconess Nursing School in Milwaukee. On September 27, 1947, she was united in marriage to Russell Noack at the Oconto Gospel Chapel, Oconto, WI. After Russell?s death in 1961, Lydia lived and worked in the Milwaukee area for the remainder of her life. A member of Grace Bible Church in West Allis, she lived her faith by serving others. Survivors include one sister, Esther Huddleson, Maitland, FL; a daughter Kristin (David) Noack, Brookfield; a grandson Andrew James; a sister-in-law Marie (Ken) Schmidt. Markesan, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell, one daughter Maxine, four brothers, Alfred , Benjamin, Carl and John Sellen; three sisters Eureka (Conrad) Imig, Gladys Sellen and Hulda (Jesse) Borchert. Friends may call at the Oconto Gospel Chapel from 10:30 A. M. until 12 Noon, Saturday, December 10, 2005. Funeral service will be 12 noon at the Oconto Gospel Chapel with Rev. Les Takkinen officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto is assisting the family.
