Lucille M. (Svoboda) Thompson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and grama-great entered into the Eternal Light on Friday, March 20, as the world welcomed a new spring. Lucy was surrounded by family, anointed in prayer and bathed in love. Lucille was born July 2, 1916 in Chicago, Il. the only child of Frank and Emma (Koutnik) Svoboda. She moved with the family in early childhood to Manitowoc, WI. She attended St. Boniface Catholic School and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1934. Following graduation and until the time of her marriage Lucille worked at Mirro Aluminum Goods in Manitowoc as an office clerk.
Lucille married George C. Thompson at St. Boniface Catholic Church on October 22, 1938.
