Obituary for Lorraine Polacek Kordiyak
Lorraine P. Kordiyak, 91, of Peshtigo, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Rennes East, Peshtigo. Lorraine was born December 24, 1919 in Chicago, IL to the late Jerry and Helen (Kroc) Polacek. She married Dr. George Kordiyak on June 6, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1998. Lorraine was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto.
Lorraine is survived by a daughter Judith (Donald) Woodlock, Porter, TX; four sons Peter (Fran) Kordiyak, Hilbert; Stephen (Jane) Kordiyak, Oconto; David Kordiyak, Boise, ID; Dr. Christopher Kordiyak, Manitowoc; a daughter-in-law Dianne Kordiyak, Oconto; a sister-in-law Anna Polacek, Peshtigo; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son George Kordiyak, and two brothers Jerry and Ronald (Martha) Polacek.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Friday, February 18, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Deacon Walter Kaszynski officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
