Lillian May Belongia, 81, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Bishops Court. Lillian was born November 4, 1935 in Oconto to the late Peter and Eva (DeMeyer) Lalonde. She married Edmund Belongia on February 14, 1959. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1996. She worked as a kitchen aide at Bellin Hospital for 15 years. She also worked at Bond Pickle and Larson Canning Company. Lillian enjoyed listening to old country western music, shopping, sewing, old movies, gardening, reading, game shows, bird watching and bingo.
Lillian is survived by a daughter, Donna (fiance Rod Rommel) Miller, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Nicole Miller and Jennifer Miller; four great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Miller-McDonald, Kyra Cain, Kyler Cain, Brixon Martin II; former son-in-law, Frank Miller. Also survived by friends, Margaret Miller and family, Susie Miller, Doris Rommel and family, Ruth Adriansen, Lucille Britten, Michael Cain, Jill Elliott and family, Roger DeLaruelle, and Brian LeMay and family. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Agnes MaCarthey, Marie Barrera, Rosalie Alfaro, Edna Kriescher; three brothers, Russell, Lester and Wilbur Lalonde.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, WI, from 5 to 7 PM Monday, February 6, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 PM Monday at the funeral home with Deacon John Vincent officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
