Obituary for Lenore A. Andersen
Lenore A. Andersen, 88, of Oconto, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Woodlands of Oconto. Lenore was born September 15, 1925 in Oconto to the late Arthur and Clara (Berg) Anderson. She married Ovid Duane Andersen Jr. on September 28, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2004. Lenore was a 1943 Oconto High School graduate. She worked for Kriewaldt Manufacturing for over 20 years. Lenore loved living by the bay and enjoyed all it had to offer, the light house, shells and sound of the waves hitting the shore. Lenore was a member of First American Lutheran Church, Oconto. Lenore will be loved and remembered in our hearts forever
Lenore is survived by a daughter, Kristine Ann (Scott) Hester, KY; two sons, Michael Andersen, Oconto; Steven (Lomae) Andersen, Oconto; seven grandchildren, Matthew Hester, Michael Hester, Joshua (Anna) Andersen, Tara Andersen, Kimberly Andersen, Connie (Victor) Bode, Carolyn Fontane, and two great grandchildren, Xander Fontane and Valin Bode.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Monday, May 19, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mary Zupansic officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
