Obituary for LaVone M. Pecor
LaVone Mae Pecor, 81, of Oconto, passed away on March 20, 2022. She was born in Suring, WI on April 26, 1940 to the late Edmond and Viola (Monfort) Foral. LaVone married Elzer J. Pecor on February 7, 1959. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1992. LaVone loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved gardening and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, the Red Hatters and the Garden Club.
LaVone is survived by her two daughters, Sheri (Dan) Groll and Sandy (Jerry) Zoeller; her son, Terry (Tina) Pecor; two brothers, Ed Foral, Jr. and Harland (Linda) Foral; seven grandchildren, Kevin Pecor, Christi (Steve) Groll-Westphal, Robbie (Amanda) Groll, Randy (Fiancé Katie) Pecor, Alex (Jayme) Pecor, Abby Zoeller, Chelsey (Justin) Schaal; and eight great grandchildren, Connor, Braxtyn, Bella, Arianna, Ethan, Edison, Isaiah and Kayden. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy J. Pecor; two granddaughters, Halie and Kaitlyn Pecor; her brother Verland Foral, and her sister, Geraldine Finger.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 2 to 4 PM Monday, March 28, 2022. Memorial services will be conducted 4 PM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Francis Nusi Officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
