Obituary for Karen Dallas

Karen Ann Schaefer Dallas, 60, passed away, Saturday May 14, 2005 at Bellin Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on September 24, 1944 to the late Harry and Lois (Magiary) Schaefer. Karen is survived by her ?love? and best friend Terry True; three sisters; Shirley (James) Reed, Oconto; Cindy Schaefer and special friend Nancy Loritz, Green Bay; Mary (Paul) LaFond, Rhinelander; nieces Deb (Rick) Duffy, Jackson, MO; Heidi Reed, Kaukauna; Britteny and Casey LaFond, Rhinelander; one nephew Alex Schaefer, Green Bay; and very special great nephews Brandon and Blake Duffy, Jackson, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband James Dallas; her parents Harry and Lois Schaefer, a brother Allen Schaefer, and a great-nephew Jonathan Reed. Karen resided in Sobieski, WI she managed the True Manor Morgan Horse Ranch. She loved her horses and dogs and was proud to say that two of the horses she had raised became World Champions. ?Karen? We enjoyed every minute of every hour with you. We are saddened that you left us. But we are thankful that you no longer have to suffer and you are with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you so much for loving and caring for us. You have been the best older sister, aunt and friend that anyone could ever have. You ?will? be missed everyday and you will always be a part of us. (You fought the good fight. Love you Karen.) Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from 12 noon until 2:00 P. M. Saturday. A memorial service will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, May 21, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. On line condolences may be left at
