A kind and loving woman, Judith Ann Elliott “Judy”, 77, of Oconto, entered the arms of our Savior on April 2, 2022 with her family by her side. Judy was born January 24, 1945 in Oconto to the late Paul and Betty (Mineau) LeBreck. Judy graduated from Oconto High School with the Class of 1963 as an honor student. Judy was a talented seamstress and enjoyed creating adorable clothing for her children, including Halloween costumes and later beautiful prom and homecoming dresses. Judy was also a gifted cook and she loved to entertain family and friends with wonderful meals. Judy loved the Green Bay Packers and her favorite player was Jordy Nelson. She was proud to have attended the Ice Bowl on 12/31/67 with her sister, Kathy. Judy was proud to have been appointed to the Medical Mediation Panel by former Gov. Tommy Thompson. She served in that capacity for 23 years until her health issues forced her to resign. Judy was also instrumental in obtaining a grant for the Oconto Falls Senior Center and was honored for her accomplishments. Judy was also recognized by the American Heart Association for her many hours of volunteering and chairing many fund raising events for that cause.
Judy is survived by five children; Christine (Roger Lang) Kernan, Lisa (Dan) Rigney, Jackie (Loren Nickerson) Elliott, Jeff (Kris) Elliott and Alison Elliott. She is further survived by twelve grandchildren; Caroline (Theo Strebig) Kernan, Haley (Mike) Bellile, Matthew (Kaylee ) Schoblocher, Alicia Rigney, Micaela Rigney, Ian Rigney, Andrea DeLapp, Emily Elliott, Carlee Elliott, Heather (Andrew) Duaime, Allen (Skylar) Leonhardt, Jr., Joshua Dunlop and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, David LeBreck, sister, Margaret LeBreck and brother-in-law, John Hyland.
