Obituary for Joyce Marie Stoegbauer
Joyce Marie Stoegbauer, 76, Pensaukee, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Care Partners, Oconto. Joyce was born July 30, 1942 in Oconto to the late Albert and Dorothy (Swaer) Hansen. She married Patrick Stoegbauer on May 6, 1967. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1998. Joyce served as Town Clerk for Pensaukee and also worked for Oconto County Human Services for many years. Joyce loved spending time with granddaughter Skye. She enjoyed spending time at her cabin in Pembine, bowling, driving her truck; she truly enjoyed the adventure. She was a member of First American Lutheran Church, Oconto.
Joyce is survived by two daughters, Heidi (Robert) Clower; Nicol (Chad) Boettcher; sister-in-law, Linda Loomer; granddaughter, Skye; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Hansen.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, to celebrate her life from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 31, from 10 to 11 AM at First American Lutheran Church, Oconto. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Jerry Wirtley officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
