Obituary for James L. Heise
James L. Heise, 50 of Oconto, passed away April 14, 2008 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee. James was born March 10, 1958 in Oconto to Robert and Viola (Roland) Heise. He graduated from Lena High School in 1976. James then started working on his fathers farm with the livestock business. In 1990 James took over the family business from his father. James was always happy riding around the country side in his red cattle truck, visiting with farmers, picking up cattle and calves. One of his great joys was visiting the fellow cattle dealers at the Kuehne and Bonduel livestock yards. James loved taking a ride on his Harley, visiting with friends and playing with his dog Shadow. He enjoyed going to the horse pulls at the county fairs.
James is survived by his mother Viola Heise, three brothers William Heise, Oconto; Michael Heise, Oconto; Scott (GHi E) Heise, Oconto; a sister Susan (Stephen) Ozechowski, Oconto; fiancee Brenda Behringer and her children Zach and Megan. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many good friends. He is preceded in death by his father Robert.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 9 PM Friday, April 18, 2008. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 19, from 10 to 11 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, Oconto. Funeral services will be concelebrated 11 AM Saturday at the church with the Rev. Bruce Blocker and Rev. Scott Heise officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net
