James E. Hermen 62, of Green Bay, lost his battle with cancer Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Aurora Bay Care Medical, Green Bay. Jim was born January 17, 1949 in Milwaukee to the late Carl and Ann (Werrebroeck) Hermen. Jim worked for Sturm foods as an SAP Planner for 7 years. Jim enjoyed boating, flying, camping and golfing. He played semi-pro baseball in Milwaukee in the 1970's. Jim was a member of the Oconto Sailing Association. Jim is survived by his special friend Julie Romenesko, Green Bay; two sisters Shirley (Kenneth) Golonka, Oconto; Betty (Joe) Badem, Oconto; a brother Bob Hermen, Oconto; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Sunday, December 4, 2011with prayer services by Deacon Walter Kaszynski at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 11 AM Monday, December 5, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto, with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating.
