Obituary for Ida Mae Whitford

Ida Mae Whitford, 87, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Odd Fellows Home, Green Bay. Ida Mae was born August 30, 1921 in Oconto Falls to the late James and Grace (Zimmerman) Fye. She married Harry Whitford on September 30, 1944. He preceded her in death on February 10, 1985. Ida Mae was a member of the First American Lutheran Church, Oconto.
Ida Mae is survived by three daughters Michele (Scott) Ferris, Venice, FL; Lynn (Ken) Bond, Green Bay; Traci (Marty) Briggs, Green Bay; a son Kenneth (Barbara) Whitford, Boca Raton, FL; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Whitford.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the First American Lutheran Church, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Monday, March 9, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday at the church with the Rev. Ken Schlueter officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, is assisting the family. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
