Obituary for Harold Cain

Harold B. Cain, 93, of Oconto, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital, Green Bay. Harold was born April 2, 1914 in Oconto to the late James O. and Maude (Andersen) Cain. Harold married Margaret Ward on May 2, 1936 at St. Mark?s Episcopal Church, Oconto, and celebrated their 71st Anniversary this year. Harold worked for the City of Oconto Street Department . Harold and Margaret loved to travel and take bus tours. Harold was a member of St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, Marinette. Harold is survived by his wife Margaret Cain, Oconto; three daughters Jean (Dick) Olson, Oconto; Mary Jane (Dwayne) Little, Redding, CA; Betty Cain, Oconto; two sons David (Karen) Cain, Stiles; Dennis (Barbara) Cain, Greenville, TN; three brothers Robert Cain, Oconto; John (Ethel) Cain, Maribel; Clarence ?Dude? Cain, Green Bay; three sisters Irene ?Sis? Steinhaus, Green Bay; Ida Mae Wicks, Green Bay; Charlotte Kelm, Green Bay; twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild on the way. Harold is preceded in death by a son Lee Cain, a daughter Carol Cain, and a brother Orville James Cain. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Friday, August 10, 2007, and again on Saturday, August 11, from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Bippus and Rev. Patrick Rudolph officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.
