Harold C. Loberger, 81, Town of Little River, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at Rennes Health Center East, Peshtigo. Harold was born June 6, 1931 in Morgan to the late Frank and Florence (Eastman) Loberger. He married Ruth Berndt on August 23, 1952. Harold was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Lena, and served his church as Lector, Usher, and on the parish council. He also served on the board of directors of Farm Services, served as a 4H leader, was a member of the Oconto County Farm Bureau and was a charter member of the Lena Lions Club. Harold was very active in the Oconto and Oconto Falls AA programs. He enjoyed wood working, hunting and fishing. Harold was a loving father and husband and will be sadly missed. Harold is survived by his wife Ruth, Oconto; three daughters, Nancy (Robert) Kraszewski, Hobart; Kathy (fiancé John Baumgartner) Campshure, Gillett; Donna (Kevin) Hawes, IN; two sons, Ralph (Pamela) Loberger, Oconto; Randy (Barbara) Loberger, Suamico; two sisters, Barbara Jaworski, Chase; Judy Rugg, Green Bay; three brothers, Donald (Lorraine) Loberger, Oconto Falls; Frank (Rita) Loberger Jr., OR; Larry (Carla) Loberger, Green Bay; a sister-in-law Janette Loberger, Fond du Lac; sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, LaVerne Bukowski, Delores Black, Joan Loberger, and one brother Harlen Loberger. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Sunday, August 26, 2012 with prayer services by Deacon Walter Kaszynski at 7 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, August 27, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, Lena. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Monday at the church with Fr. Celestine Byekwaso officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
