Obituary for Glenn Burns

Glenn Burns, 70, of Lena, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at his home. Glenn was born March 3, 1938 in Milwaukee to the late Robert and Marion (Krumhus) Burns. Glenn owned and operated Glenns Place in Oconto for many years. He had a hobby farm and raised his own breed of short horn cattle. Glenn enjoyed the outdoors, especially watching birds.
Glenn is survived by a sister-in-law Mary Burns, Green Bay; niece and nephew Paul (Kim) Burns, Melissa (Jason) Krcma; step-mother Maria Burns; half-sisters Anna Maria Schaeffer, Roberta Montalbo; aunts and uncles Betty (Gene) Craig, Grace Beaumier, Laverne Cota, Herlene (Jim) Lasley; and many cousins and friends. Glenn is preceded in death by a brother Leslie Burns.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Monday, December 8, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Blocker officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.
