Obituary for Ernest John Boucher Sr.
Ernest J. Boucher Sr, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Oconto. Ernest was born April 2, 1948 in Oconto to the late Ernest and Doris (Follett) Boucher. He married Debra Rentmeester on October 12, 1984. She preceded him in death on August 8, 2016. Ernest enjoyed taking walks and striking up a conversation, he also enjoyed cooking and yodeling.
Ernest is survived by a son, Ernest Boucher Jr.; two grandchildren, Jaylyn and Kaylee Boucher; five sisters, Gloria Boucher, Deanna Longsine, Lydia (Robert) Warrichaiet, Barbara Kilosso; Dale (James) Ebert; three brothers, Edward (Debra) Boucher Sr., Lee (Donna) Boucher, Randy (Jenny) Boucher; a brother-in-law, Justin Wenzel; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Boucher; a sister, Linda Wenzel; and nephew, Randall Boucher.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 10 AM to 12 Noon Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Memorial services will be conducted 12 Noon Wednesday at the funeral home with the Pastor Nick Badendick officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
