Daniel Kozloski, 81, of Lt. Suamico, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Green Bay. Daniel was born December 31, 1931 in Lt. Suamico to the late John and Marie (Shrudowitz) Kozloski. Daniel married Vivian Patenaude on September 8, 1951. She preceded him in death on August 7, 1987. On May 14, 1988 he married his lifelong friend Judy Smith-Ristow, they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends this year. Dan worked on his farm along with his family in Lt. Suamico for most of his life and for a short time at Packerland Packing and Hurlbut Corp. Later in life he worked for Abrams Lumber until he retired. Dan was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. Dan loved hunting, fishing, playing cards, listening to polka music, playing his harmonica, concertina and accordion. He also loved spending time with his beloved dog Chloe. Dan is survived by his wife, Judy Kozloski; two daughters, Pam (Rick Erdmann) Stevens; Terri (Paul) Poradek; step-son, Roger (Ann) Ristow; grandchildren, Laurie (fiancee Andy Bateman) Stevens, Rob “Robbie” (Salima) Stevens, Brian (Misty) Poradek, Michelle “Shelly” (Cody) Erdmann, Brad Poradek, Rachel Ristow, Riley Ristow; great grandchildren, Sammi, Terik, Jarid, Ashley, Carter; great great granddaughter Isabel; brother, Richard (Dorothy) Kozloski; in-laws, Betty Kozloski, Mary Ann (Dennis) Hernet; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille (Bill) Drzewiecki, Dorothy (Kenneth) Diedrich; brother, Chester Kozloski, step-father, Tony Rowinski and niece Jane Kozloski. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Monday, September 30, 2013 with prayer services by Fr. Gerald A. Prusakowski O.F.M. at 7 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, October 1, from 9 to 10 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Sobieski. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday at the church with Fr. Gerald A. Prusakowski O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Lt. Suamico. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
