Obituary for "Deets"

Clarence “Deets” Aland, 82, Oconto, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Bellin Health Oconto Hospital. Clarence was born September 19, 1939 in Oconto to the late Clarence and Elsie (Reines) Aland. He married Lola Benson on May 15, 1982. She preceded him in death on August 18, 1993. Clarence spent most of his life farming a small farm in the suburbs of county line. He served his county in the US Coast Guard in Alaska. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto.

Clarence is survived by a daughter, Sarah (Ryan) Dura; a son, James Aland; a sister, Susan Aland; and two grandchildren, Weston Dura and Eli Aland.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 7 PM Friday, November 12, 2021. Memorial services will be conducted 7 PM Friday at the funeral home wit the Rev. Craig Alwin officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
