Obituary for Betty Karban

?Betty? M. Karban, 58, of Little Suamico, died Friday February 3, 2006 at her home. Betty was born July 17, 1947 in Oconto to the late Charles and Irene (Wnuk) Detiege. She married Jack W. Karban III on November 30, 1968. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2002. Betty enjoyed working on the family farm with her brother, baking, and cross word puzzles. She worked at Fleet Farm in Green Bay for the last four years. Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her son Jack W. (Jamie) Karban IV, Oconto; two brothers David Detiege, Lt.Suamico; Charles ?Sonny? Detiege, Lt. Suamico; one sister Ruth (Bill) Zimmerman, Abrams; two grandchildren Hope and Andrew Karban, two nephews Charlie (Cheryl) Detiege, Chris (Nicki) Detiege, two great nieces Allyson and Brooke Detiege, and one great nephew Brennon Detiege. She is preceded in death by one sister Mary Detiege. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 3 to 7:30 PM Tuesday February 7, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Alan Klessig officiating.
