Obituary for Betty Augustine

Betty Augustine, 91, of Oconto, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at Country House, Oconto. Betty was born August 13, 1919 in Kenosha to the late Alphonse and Minnie (Brien) Eparvier. She married Everett Augustine on December 16, 1939. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2001. Betty enjoyed bowling, boating, knitting and spending time with her family. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto.

Betty is survived by four daughters Janet Hyland, Sheboygan; Debbie (Dick) Viestenz, Oconto; Lois (Mike) Wyent, Suamico; Sara (Joe) Loberger, Oconto; three sons Doug Augustine, Seymour; Philip (Cathy) Augustine, Oconto; Chris Augustine, Sobieski; a brother Norbert Eparvier, Iron Mountain; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Dalton Hyland, two sisters Madelyn Snyder, Joan Eparvier, and four brothers Al, Ken, Dick and Don Eparvier.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Friday, December 3, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 11 AM Friday at the church with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, is assisting the family. On line condolences may be expressed at
