Obituary for Bernadette Mae Badora
Bernadette Mae Badora, 86, of Oconto, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Bay Shore Pines, Oconto. Bernie was born June 23, 1922 in Oconto to the late August and Eva (Piek) Wittock. She married Dennis Badora on October 30, 1948. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1992. In 1943 Bernadette became a Registered Nurse. She worked at the Oconto Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1984. Bernadette was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto, and the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary.
Bernadette is survived by a daughter Mary Jo Badora, Sturgeon Bay; a son Roger (Dolores) Badora, Oconto; two grandchildren Denise and Paul Badora. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis and her parents August and Eva.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 9 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2009 with prayer services by Deacon Walter Kaszynski at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10 AM on Wednesday, March 25 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto, with the Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net
