Obituary for Arthur Dimmick

Arthur T. Dimmick, 73, of Oconto, died Friday, August 11, 2006 at Woodlands Nursing Home, Oconto. Art was born May 8, 1933 in Danville, PA, to the late Alvin and Hazel (Cripps) Dimmick. Art was born in Danville, PA and lived there until he went into the U.S. Air Force. Art served his Country during the Korean Conflict, and was a Sgt. in the Air Police in England. After returning home Art worked as a baker. He then moved to Lewisburg, PA where he opened Art?s Bakery. Art then worked for the American Legion Post# 182, where he was a member for fifty years. Art then moved to Oconto to live with his daughter Bonnie and her husband. Art was a member of the Montandon American Legion Post# 841, Lifetime member of the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and Bass Anglers Sportsman Society. Art loved hunting and fishing. Art is survived by his daughter Bonnie (Gary) Boes, Oconto; sister Donna Bastian, Riverside, PA; niece Vicki (Dale) Boyer, grandniece Michele (Delavan) Whitenight, and grandnephew Shawn Boyer. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, is assisting the family. Burial will take place in Danville, PA. On line condolences may be expressed at
