Obituary for Adeline Noack

Adeline Noack, 66, of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at her home. Adeline was born January 23, 1942 in Manistique, MI to the late George and Elizabeth (Feathers) Sharkey. She married Ron Noack Sr. on October 11, 1958. Adeline was known for making sweet grass baskets and was called the sweet grass lady. Adeline was member in good standing of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. Her Indian name translates into Ceremonial Feather Woman. Adeline was a member of the Oconto River Bowmen.
Adeline is survived by her husband Ron Noack Sr., Green Bay; three sons William (Yvette) Noack, Pensaukee; Ronald Noack Jr., Green Bay; Robert "Bobby" (Melanie) Noack; Green Bay; two daughters Lynn (Kevin) Martin, Green Bay; Dawn Noack, Green Bay; also survived by many brothers and sisters, fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death a son James Noack, a grandson Austin Noack, and brothers and sisters.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 5 to 6 PM Wednesday July 2, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted 6 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Intern Pastor Christian Nisonger officiating.
