Peggy was born December 28, 1956 in Berlin to Elizabeth Jorgensen. She married Melvin Bartels on January 5, 2005. Peggy’s favorite hobby was cooking and she loved animals.
Peggy is survived by her husband Melvin Bartels, Abrams; mother Elizabeth Duket, Oconto; daughter Carrie (Joe) Mumper, Chandler, AZ; step-son Russell Bartels, Abrams; sister Leanne (Robert) Krueger, Oshkosh; grandson Jackson Mumper, a very special Aunt Leone Hoinacki, Oshkosh and many nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her step-father "Duke" Duket and maternal grandparents Ralph and Bessie Jorgensen.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 11 AM to 12 Noon Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Memorial services will be conducted 12 Noon Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frederik Schulz officiating. On line condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
